What colours are available in the aluminium garage door jambs?
Anything that’s in the Dulux powder coat colour range. View the Dulux colour range.
What types of cladding and framing does it suit?
The current product is designed to work with both 90mm and now 140mm framing and all types of exterior cladding, from brick veneer to weatherboard, Duragroove and Hermpac. The addition of a scriber or trim may be required in some situations - see the installation guide for more details.
What are the dimensions of the Ali Jamb trim?
It is 175mm wide for 90mm framing extrusion and 225mm wide for 140mm framing extrusion, with a 20mm return on the outside edge. The internal architrave is 70mm wide.
What is the turnaround time?
From order to dispatch or installation (or delivery outside the Bay of Plenty) please allow two weeks.
What design options are available?
Our Classic extrusion is available in both 90mm and 140mm framing options. We also have a NEW smooth option available NOW !

How long does it take to install?
This can depend on a few things of course, but generally they take between an hour to an hour and a half to install.

What comes in the kitset?
Our kitsets that are delivered around New Zealand come with 1 x head and 2 x side trims, 4 x corner cleats, 10 x securing clips and 24 stainless steel screws. And that should be all you need to install the jamb.
Why is an aluminium garage door jamb better than a timber jamb?
There’s actually many reasons why, with the main one being it makes a builder’s life a little bit easier - that’s because the aluminium jamb is pre-made and easy to install, saving time. It also doesn’t need painting (it comes powder coated), it provides a great looking finish and is low maintenance, but strong. (And lastly - our jambs work out more cost effective).
